‘Graham Stephen Woodman is a grandad from nowhere. Or was. In Memoriam cordially invites you inside the lives of the Woodman family the morning of Graham’s funeral - a time for his nearest and dearest to mourn in peace together, you would think? 

WRONG! From a troublesome Priest, to a mystery guest and a very very late hearse, you can expect family fallouts, secret affairs and LOTS of chaos. Come and watch this DEAD serious comedy to witness a very mournful day quickly turn very, very sour….’

TheSpaceUK @Surgeon’s Hall presents In Memoriam at Haldane Theatre, a black comedy confined to the hour before a funeral - one location, one dysfunctional family and one very long wait. Inspired by kitchen sink dramas, and dry British comedy, every audience member will know a Woodman in their lives. All performed in real time and in a singular location, the piece captures an insight into family life and how grief can bring out the very best and very, very worst in people. 

We are BossyB*tch Productions, a theatre company founded by three University of Exeter students delving to create “femme, fiery, thought provoking theatre”. Established from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2022, In Memoriam is our first production, having premiered in the South West and this Edinburgh Fringe Festival will mark our professional debut as a theatre company.
