'The Last Five Years'

'The Last Five Years chronicles the life of a marriage, from the couple's first date to their eventual divorce. Following the lives of Cathy Hyatt, a struggling actress and Jamie Wellerstein, an upcoming composer; the story of The Last Five Years is told from each of these characters' perspectives, with Jamie's side of the relationship being told chronologically and Cathy's moving backwards from their divorce. In this retelling of this story, we see Cathy and Jamie portrayed at two different points in their relationship, giving a unique insight into this bittersweet love story from both sides.'
